I’m Juliana, the founder of Volarte.
Having explored more than 55 countries, I bring a traveler’s curiosity to the city I call home. At Volarte, I combine that perspective with nearly two decades in tourism to create experiences that feel personal.
My background in languages and sociocultural studies, together with a master’s in French literature from Sorbonne University in Paris, shapes the way I understand places and share their stories.
I founded Volarte in 2018 to share Barcelona through knowledge, conversation and the warmth of welcoming someone into your world. Today, as a guide and concierge, I personally shape each visit and look after our guests throughout their stay.

I’m Juliana, the founder of Volarte. Originally from Colombia, I spent six years in Paris before making Barcelona my home.
My background in languages and sociocultural studies, along with a master’s in French literature from the Sorbonne, shapes the way I bring places and their stories to life. I’ve found that the moments travelers remember most often begin with a story, a conversation, or an unexpected discovery.
I created Volarte in 2018 to share the Barcelona I know and love, with the warmth of showing a friend around. Today, I personally plan each visit and work with trusted local guides, bringing together thoughtful details, cultural insight, and time to enjoy the city at your own pace. I can also arrange transfers and restaurant reservations, so you can simply enjoy your stay.
